Job Description:

As a Counter Sales Marketer at Agrico Douglas, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service: Assist customers at the counter, providing product information and recommendations to meet their needs.
• Sales: Drive sales by engaging with customers, understanding their requirements, and offering suitable solutions. Process orders efficiently and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stock Management: Oversee stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and coordinate with the stockroom to ensure product availability.
• Administration: Handle administrative tasks related to sales transactions, customer records, and inventory management. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our products, particularly in irrigation, to effectively advise and support customers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.
• Flexibility: Be willing to work on Saturdays and during flexible hours as required by the business.

Job requirements

• Experience in stock management
• Proficiency in sales and administrative duties
• Valid Code 08 driver’s license with own transport
• Grade 12 qualification is mandatory
• Willingness to work Saturdays and/or flexible hours
• Contactable references
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience in irrigation will be an advantage
